Pediatric Care at Comprehensive Physical Therapy
Our highly trained physical and occupational therapists, who work within the specialty of pediatric rehabilitation, utilize a distinct knowledge base of development and play-based therapy. Children are not “small versions of adults” and rehabilitation approaches must recognize and consider typical and atypical development. Through a play-based approach, our pediatric therapists address a child’s unique development, focusing on developmental milestones — both physical and neurologic, as well as a wide range of diagnoses that influence medical, physical, functional, psychosocial, cognitive, or vocational realms. Treatment can start at a few weeks of life and progress throughout childhood, addressing each stage of development.
CPT is proud to work with several therapists who have embraced this subspecialty. Pediatric services are available in our Forest City and Hawley locations. Forest City offers occupational therapy and Hawley offer both physical and occupational therapy.

We absolutely love Miss Olga!! She is phenomenal with my daughter Bella! Karen in the front is also phenomenal. She has such great customer service and ALWAYS tries to work with me and my schedule! They are a great place.
My 6 year old granddaughter needed OT. Miss Emily was terrific with her. Progress was slow to start; Emily kept after her weekly! Improvements started and her confidence grew. The front desk was easy to work with and very friendly.
Occupational therapy at CPT has been great for Nolan for navigating his cerebral palsy. The staff has been so helpful and knowledgeable and kind in helping him reach his full potential.
